If you synched your pen with the computer, but saw no XML file, do not worry! The pen usually saves all data until you hard-reset it.

The most likely reason no XML file showed up was because the PAD file doesn't point to the PaperToolkit monitor. Once you fix that, go to the Windows registry.

Find the pen ID under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Anoto\2.0\LPLS\Pens that corresponds with your pen, and delete the entire pen ID's key (and all of the subkeys)...

Connect the pen to the dock once again. This time, the XML file should show up.
